- MS wireless notebook optical mouse 4000 - Will not move cursor
- Mouse receiver - does not light up "green" when plugged directly into USB Port
I have tried:
- Replacing battery in mouse
- "Connect" on receiver and mouse
- Downloading and installing driver software
- Using receiver and mouse on a different computer
- Working "on/off" button under mouse. It seems o.k.
- Working "connect" button under mouse. It seems o.k.

Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
