Question about Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine

1 Answer

Saeco vienna super automatica coffe maker produces very little coffee and it comes out very slow.

Furthermore, when starting up the machine, the milkcreamer wand works properly (cold water is coming out) But after warming up the machine, the wand produces only steam when it should produce hot water. What can be the problem?

Sounds like your pump. When you turn steam knob on, you should hear the pump go bump, bump, bump. When hot water is turned on, you should hear pump run steady.

That is the case indeed, the pump makes the right noise just after turning on the machine. But after the machine is warmed up only steam is coming out although the pump runs steady. An there is almost no coffee coming out.

Do you think that replacing the pump solves the problem? or can it also be a problem in the flow meter or in the boiler?

SOURCE: My Saeco Incanto deluxe started dripping hot water

What color is the steam manifold? It is located under the black cover with the trough in back under the white tube. If its white or black it probably needs to be replaced. If you cool down the manifold after steaming you can prevent this from happening. Just turn off the steam and then open the knob again to run water. It comes out steam at first but then will turn to a water stream. Then you can close the knob and go about brewing or just let it stand.
But its going to have to be replaced

My Saeco Vienna Black Automatica Espresso maker will grind coffee only about one-fourth of the time. Other times, it makes whirring sound and then shuts off and red "coffee bean" light comes on.

Your grind is to fine. Turn the big knob in the bean hopper up 4 clicks and try again. It could be oily beans which would require the same solution.

it is not a filter but a water softener and no need to replace. You need to pass thought it 2 spoon full of salt desolve with water and then flush it with water for 15 min until the salt will be cleaned. You can do this one time per month so to avoid any scale build inside the machine.

Vienna automatica saeco will not turn on

If you push the power button and the machine will not turn on and it a newer machine there is a reset button on the side of the boiler that needs to be pushed. This will get you [power again. If the machine is older than 3 years you probably need a new board or power filter.

Clean the ball and valve assembly located in the Brew Group. It ocassionally gets "dirty" and needs cleaning. Be careful you don't lose the glass ball which is very small. Use a q-tip or small wire for cleaning the tubular area.
