Hold down (+) and power buttons down same time until light comes on, then let go, option screen should come on,then toggle with the + button and use the(-) button to choose option.

There are two ways to do it. You can either update the firmware and it will erase everything for you, or you can do a factory reset, and return to factory settings. Go to Settings, PDN settings (not the Android settings menu) and scroll right to the Reset Defaults location. Tap on the reset button and you will be taken back to factory default settings. It might take a while to reload, but after everything it will be back to factory defaults from when you first bought it. Updating the firmware might be your best option if you care to resell it, because it may cause less issues for the next person and less chance of any returns.
