My LCD TV has developed about twenty different coloured lines down one side of the screen, can anybody tell me if I can fix this.

sounds like the Tcon board is causing the lines which is very common issue when the Tcon fails. You can get the replacement Tcon form www.tvrepairworld.com

A small 0.7cm circle has appeared in the top right hand corner of the screen about 10cm away from the edge of the screen. its a circle made of coloured edge with a coloured dot in the middle

Did somebody stick their thumb on that part of the screen, and their fingers on the back, in order to pickup the monitor? If so, they damaged the screen.

Call 'CSI: Miami', and get them to take fingerprints. :-)

I have vertical coloured lines on screen, these will go away if screen is pushed back and forth. Any Ideas? It is a Dell Latitude D510

There is a thin ribbon cable that runs from the motherboard to the screen, it is this that has worn.

If you can imagine every time the laptop is opened and closed it bends the ribbon cable back and forth and eventually get fatigues giving the lines on the screen where it is wearing away the connection.

They can be replaced but require quite a lot of work to replace as you have to strip down the screen and base unit to get to both ends.

Search for Dell D510 Display cable and you should find what I am talking about. A second one appears to be about £10 - £15.

Two light lines have just appeared

Your driver transistors are failing on those "Rows" of Pixels.. a common problem .. you could try "Pixel Reviver" software from here http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor see if that helps.. but it possibly is on the way out sorry..
