Have you dropped the Iphone or has it been exposed to water damage?
It looks like a actually LCD damage and not a software failure I would recommend you contact Apple.

Here you can find the number to call http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

SOURCE: Dropped se W810i and screen is white with vertical stripes

If you are seeing a white screen with stripes the LCD itself has gonebad. Dropping it just right some times causes the to happen without actually cracking the lcd screen

Replacing the LCD screen on the Sony W810i is a pretty straight forward procedure and should then take care of the problem. A new LCD screenruns about 30 dollars from Ebay.

Take a look at the following link to see instructions and links to buy the lcd screen

I hope that helps out

A greenish tone to entire display denotes a faulty panel. If you wish to get more details to this, check the site linked here. It has screen-shots to faulty plasma display. You can see it and compare to that of your TVs' and can make sure. Pull up older posts. Good Luck.

All projection TV sets have two very common problems. One is convergence ( 3D/Warped video or dead set) the other is CRT fluid ( Dull Video). Here are more details and solutions for both.

Common Problem #1) Convergence has gone out

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. In some cases the TV will also not show any video. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on. Power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some pics of convergence problems.

Common Problem #2) CRT Fluid is Cloudy

Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos around images.

Greenish screen

sometimes speaker magnets or any metallic device can cause this disturbance in this type of monitor. also, if you are using dvi, i would reset all video driver settings to default. this may correct this green tint you are seeing as well. reinstalling the monitor software could have a positive affect.

Iphone touchscreen not working:(

I think my solution for my Viewty will work for the iPhone

I found a solution for the LG KU990 Viewty touchscreen not responding problem. After thinking about twisting my phone, I came up with another solution which actually works every time. The touchscreen works via layers of plastic that when contact is made, a signal is triggered from the coordinates of the contact. However, when the phone has pressure, these layers of plastic stick together somehow. So, to fix it.... Get a small strip of adhesive tape that will not leave a sticky residue on your screen. Apply that tape in several spots on the surface of the screen, and lift it away from the phone with light pressure. Repeat this in several areas of the screen. That's it. You're done. Your screen should function properly. Simply recalibrate the touchscreen at this point in your settings menu. I hope it helps everyone with any type of touchscreen. I know it helped me. The touchscreen phones are totally useless using only the hard keys!
