A communication error has occurred. i can't connect to the printer>>> epson stylus c43sx

i have the same communication error with my c43sx, but then i,ve tried reinstalling the driver several times and during installation the computer was able to detect the printer. But sometime during the installation process when the software checks the connection it reported again the communication error or the software would install but when i tried to print it would again lost communication with the cpu.. I've tried connecting the printer to another computer and it worked and show no sign of error, but when I connected it back to the original computer, it shows communication error again, i've tried using a known good cable but to no avail. I've tried setting the port to correct set-up (ecp, then epp) but to avail. I also have temporarily disabled the antivirus during set-up, then turned off the firewall but still i get the error message.Then I restored the system to the time when the printer is fully functional (just to see if it is a software problem).I was thinking there could be a problem with the motherboard's parallel port (just a hunch). i have the same communication error with my c43sx, but then i,ve tried reinstalling the driver several times and during installation the computer was able to detect the printer. I keep getting a "Failed to communicate with the EPSON Connect Server. -2" error. I've rebooted, turned the printer on and off and it still won't print.
