What do symbols mean on the display panel of a whirlpool aa600 awo d6042

The symbols on the topside display are usually an indication of function of the tub and also a troubleshooting guide if there is a problem in the system somewhere.
Some of the symbols are going to tell you what to look for to fix the tub if it stops working.

Our whirlpool washing machine wont drain and light for clean pump is on what do i do

Most likely your drain hose is clogged on the back end of the machine. With the appliance UNPLUGGED, a technician can get a wire of some sort to snake out the clog.

Clogged suction line in bath whirlpool

It sounds like something got sucked into your pump impeller, you can try sucking it back out with a wet vac but my bet is that you'll have to open the pump to clean it out. If the marble skirt is the only acccess to the pump it will need to be removed but look for another way first, they can be difficult to reinstall and make look good. If your careful, the pumps can be opened and cleaned without much trouble, Use your wet vac to suction anything left out of the pump suction line and make sure the pump discharge and distribution lines are clean as well. Pump case should have an "O"Ring seal that should be replaced but may be cleaned, lubricated and reused if not dammaged
Good Luck, this is the kind of job the service tech's make there money on.

I have a whirlpool washing machine and I need to check the filter, please can you tell me where it is. It is a AWO/D 4505 model Thanks

Your filter/screens are where your washer hot and cold hoses connect to you washer. You will have to turn the water off on your washer, and unscrew the hoses at the washer. You will see them at the end of the hose or in the washer itself. Take them out and clean them.

Washing machine does not drain out when cycle ended, water left in drum, there is a filter bottom front only opens slightly to release some water, should this be able to be taken out to clean it

Most washing machines are based on the same principles: there is an inner drum with holes around the entire drum walls, this is where you place your clothes. This drum sits inside of another drum that has a drain hole at the bottom of it that connects to a pump motor. When the machine is in spin cycle it uses centrifugal force to remove the water from the clothes and it escapes the interior drum via the holes and is captured by the drum with the drain in it. The pump motor has an impeller which may be made of plastic or metal which often fails resulting in the issue you have described. Depending on your make and model it may be possible to replace the impeller itself or you may have to replace the entire pump. While most are easy fixes they are labor consuming. Cleaning of the filter in front of the machine will be of little consequence to resolve the issue. I hope this assists you and thanks for using Fix Ya. Please let me know if I can be of anymore assistance.
