Question about HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Check ink cartridge

Purchased new HP print cartridge 3 weeks ago and was working great until today. It stopped printing, was printing address on envelope, and says CHECK INK CARTRIDGE. Pulled ink cartridge and reinserted and the error still shows and can't shut off printer unless pull 120 v plug. Checked inside printer for paper jam and nothing shows. Should I uninstall printer and reinstall?

I ptu in a new ink cartridge after it said to check it because the old was kinda empty. Bu then the printer seemed to reject the new because it wouldn't register and I couldn't turn it off unless I unplug it. But when i put the old ones back in it works but the print quality is of course low.

Your ink cartridges could be dried up or empty, even if they are new.

BROTHER P-TOUCH IS not printing

It is obvious it has a failed electronic component, since these are not repaired/exchanged except when they are under warranty best thing to do is just replace it.

Why is print quality poor after inserting new ink. Copies are faint and have lines

the cartridge is clogged with ink that has dried and reduced the slit. you need to replace the cartridge with a new one. it happens usually if you recharge the cartridge 3 or 4 times with compatible ink.

HP printer psc 2210 all in one

Chances are that you didn't lock down the scanner when you moved the unit. You can attempt to open the unit and move the scanner bar manually to reset it. HPs are very difficult beasts when it comes to their power up check out. It must be fully functional...including all cartridges...to work in most cases. Good luck.

Printer won't recognize cartridge

I had the same problem. I'm not sure but I think I replaced the cartridges when the printer was on because I turned the printer off and removed one of the cartridges. When I turned the printer back on it recognized that cartridge but not the others. I turned the printer off again, rmoved all cartiridges and put them back in when the printer was still off. When I turned the printer on again I had no problems. So...try turning off the printer, rmove all cartridges, then put them back in and restart printer. Hope this works for you .

Samsung kicked out hp 3in 1 printer already installed

Don't have your HP designated as the default printer (if possible)when you hook up the Samsung. When the Samsung is hooked up it sees the HP is the default printer. Well it can't have that, they discard the HP drivers. What does Samsung care about HP drivers theres only one printer port setup and thats the USB port you have them sharing. So yes you need to get a second cable. Tim
