Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

1 Answer

Logitech N231 cordless optical mouse

This is kind of a "duh" moment.

The battery seems dead. How do I open the case? I can see some recessed lids.

Thanks!

It opens from the top. Put your finger nail in the grooves and pull towards you.

Look for a button on the bottom of the mouse, or a little arrow. Any markings indicating removal.

Hello, The battery compartment is located at the bottom of your mouse. Chances are that you need one AAA battery to replace it.

How in the world do I get to the place where the battery goes on my wireless mouse? It cannot be as difficult as I am making it!

Generally with newer logitech wireless mouses, you simply have to slide the top off.

With earlier models, you need to open a lid on the bottom of the mouse.

In either case, it should open easily

I don't believe they sell replacement cases, but I would simply advise getting a laptop carrying case, works just as well. If you insist on getting a replacement, you may be able to call Logitech and ask for one. Good luck!
