Question about Gateway Wireless-B Router (wbr-100)
I'm still confused, the adaptor is 120 V and i adjusted it into 220 V and it smoked a little. did it broke or can i use it again? does all store sell just the adapter?
The adaper was too powerful, you should have stuck to the original voltage and you may have burned up some wires inside which was the reason for it smoking and you cannot use it again or the next time it may result to a fire and you dont want that so go to office max, staples, radio shack, or best buy to find the adapter that will work for you. I prefer best buy because there is always someone there in the computer parts to help and assist you with the product you are looking for. I hope that this will help you in some way, let me know and Good Luck!
