Question about Cameras
Whithout knowing a brand or model name, it is impossible for anyone to tell you what driver to download.
The only thing that you could do, is to search google images for "webcam", and see if you can find one that looks just like yours. I have done this in the past to find drivers for no-name webcameras. Once you find a picture looking like your camera, click it to go to the page it's on, and try to find a brand name or model name of the camera. Once you find a model name or brand name, search google for the name + "driver download" and you should be able to find a driver for your camera.
The obvious solution is of course to ask your friend if he have the drivers, but I figure you already tried that.
