SOURCE: no forward or reverse. lights
Joe with a scooter there can be a number of things wrong to cause your problem Since the motor turns and you have power at the console. It could be the throttle pot or the speed pot or both or it could be the cable that runs from the console to the rear of the scooter and finally a problem with the controller. But that would also give some sort of error to the console light if it is equiped with a power light. If Medicare paid for your scooter then they will pay most of the cost of repair. Your provider can work on it for you or they can contact a repair service that will fix it for you Hope this helps

Tony Check the freewheel lever Make sure that the scooter can't be pushed easily. If you can push it then its in freewheel. Now Tony you could have a problem with the brake itself. There is a small micro switch on the brake that engages and disengages when you move the freewheel lever. If you can get a close look at it make sure that it still looks like its operating its a mechanical mech activated by the lever on the brake. If it looks ok and you can get the scooter in or out of freewheeling (the rear wheels lock and unlock) then it could be a throttle pot problem or a speed control pot problem. Fortunately you can't bypass the throttle or speed pot. You will have to get these checked by a tech either with your provider or a service company that has techs around your area. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a quick fix but scooters are more difficult to troubleshoot because of all the different componets necessary to make it go. Good Luck Hope this helps

I'm supposing that you haven't disengaged the brake with the handle on the rear, next to the right wheel - it should be in the up position.
If this is the case then i'm sorry to tell you but this is a bad defect that you cannot fix yourself: the controller board has failed and the motor is no longer powered, locking the wheels. You will have to contact the ones that sold it to you, they will have to completely replace it. Unfortunately there is only a one year warranty on it so you will have to pay for it - around $500.
