Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
My machine will not advance to the next step ina cycle unless I do it manually...how do I cahnge a TImer maybe????
A timer is easy to replace. Depending on your machine though if the timer is expensive just get a new machine or see if you can get a refurbished timer for less. If you remove the back panel which involves removing about 8 screws you will see the timer. Unplug the machine and just remove the wires connecting to it. Remove the few screws that hold the timer in and remove the timer then replace with the new one. Sometimes it takes a little love to get the thing out and make sure you remove the knob first from the front of the panel so it comes out. Let me know if you have any other questions.
