HOW TO REMOVE CIRCUIT BOARD FROM SHURE PGX2/SM58

First, unscrew the cartridge from the top. The round circuit board on top of the transmitter has a cutout on the switch side. Slide a screwdriver through that cutout and pop out the bezel the surrounds the switch. Remove the spring clip that is around the round circuit board and slide out the circuit board.

On my z71 1996 model rear bake lights don't work but the third light works, could it be the brake switch ?

No, it is not the brake lamp switch. If the brake lamp switch was not working, the high mount (3rd) brake lamp would also not function.
Chevrolet trucks are notorious for bad tail lamp circuit boards.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the circuit boards. Check for power at the circuit board connector (with the brake pedal depressed) on each side. The brake/turn lamp circuit for the left side is the YELLOW wire. The brake/turn lamp circuit for the right side is the GREEN wire. If there is power at the connector, check the GROUND (BLACK wires) to make sure they are getting a good ground. If the power and ground circuits are OK at the connector, replace the circuit boards.

NOTE: DORMAN makes a kit that includes circuit boards for both sides it is DORMAN Part Number 70001

If there is no power on the YELLOW and GREEN wires at the circuit board connectors, the most likely cause would be a defective turn signal switch.

I have a Ryobi RG6900 Generator, how do i connect it from the generator to the distribution board.

I use a COBRA. It is a lead with a plug at either end. Plug one end into the generator (output) and the other into any household plug outlet. (Set to the ON position)
Before doing so ensure that no outside power can enter through your DB board (switch the Mains Switch to the "off" position) Also switch off (at the DB board) any circuits that may cause a demand of more than 21 Amps (Stove, Geyser, Swimming Pool Pump etc)
Start the 6900 and wha-la you have power to all circuits not switched off at the DB Board.

I typically leave the light circuits, one of the plug circuits (to run the TV, Decoder etc) Security Circuit, and Garage Door opener switched on.
When mains power returns First stop & disconnect the 6900, remove the COBRA and then switch on the Mains and other circuits.

Some of these compatible boards have a fuse, which look identical, and some don't have the fuse. Why? Is that an issue?

Circuit board assemblies are revised all of the time. The fuse may have been added to solve a problem that was cropping up - which would mean the ones with the fuse are a later revision. Or the fuse may have been removed and replaced with a jumper as a cost saving step when it became apparent that the fuse never blew anyway - which would mean the ones without the fuse are a later version. But it doesn't matter. Either board will work.

yes, that model should have a slide button for fan on/auto.that is assuming your furnace is a fairly modern unit.
