Please try the following troubleshooting tips:
Check if you have the correct Nokia original battery for your phone. If you do not have the correct battery, please return to your point of purchase to obtain the correct battery for your phone or purchase the appropriate battery for your phone
If you have access to another battery and charger of the same type as yours, try substituting them to determine if the issue is with the phone, battery or charger. Your point of sale or a local Nokia Authorized Service Center may be able to assist you. Please be sure to call first.
- Hold the power button down for a full 3 seconds. (The power button is often located on the top of your phone. Please refer to your user guide for the location of the power button for your specific phone).
- Ensure the battery has been sufficiently charged. If your phone is new or the battery is completely drained, charge the battery for the sufficient time period (please refer to your user guide) and then try to power on the phone. If your phone is not new or the battery is not drained, install the charger to see if the charging indicator comes on. If it does, then press the power button for 3 seconds with the charger connected.
- Try removing your battery and replacing it back in the phone.
If you are unable to test your phone or your phone still won't power on, please submit your phone so it may be inspected for repair. Repair instructions and locations.
