My screen on my asus 900 has two lines going across the bottom of the screen.

I may be incorrect, but i believe those lines are dead pixels, basically, they're lines of pixels (or dots) on the screen, that have become permanently one color, usually white or black

Windows should have the feature. Check Start menu, Accessibility, or something along those lines. Otherwise it may be in Control Panel, do a search for accessibility.

There is no option you need to replace the LCD Panel.

Stripes will be keep on growing on the LCD Panel.

How are you connected to the internet?

I will take a wild guess and assume you think you are connected by wi-fi, if that's the case and you are using KDE or GNOME (likely) in the bottom of the right of the screen there's an icon which looks a bit like a screwdriver going into something, click on it and select the wireless network you want to connect to.

Just right click on desktop click on properties you will get display properties go to screen saver tab and select none option apply it

Replacement screen for eee 900


A quick search brought this up. Its a buy it now option thru Ebay and you can make an offer to get it cheaper. Not my auction but just found it by doing a search thru google.

Screen flashes when turning on


You could try re-installing the OS from the recovery disk that was included with the unit, but it may very well be a hardware issue if it is doing it right away. I would try contacting ASUS product support at:
