Click the menu butten on your monitor and click positioning and they it should be under horizontal and vertical but if its on the sides click horizontal and use the plus and minus buttens on your monitor to adjust it.

SOURCE: screen shrinks

Possibility: Dust accumulated within.
Disconnect the monitor, and open it up. With a dry small paint brush and a vacuum cleaner, remove as much as possible. Especially around the tube and the ultor (the cable connected to the rear of the tube, usually has a rubber cup- like fitting on the tube end), then close up and test again.
Still doing it? This part requires great care, if you don't feel confident about working around a live chassis, DON'T!!!
Disconnect and open the monitor again. Connect up without its cover. Look around the chassis, you will see a number of adjustment potentiometers, possibly with markings such as "width" and "height" etc. Turn on the computer, and with a PLASTIC adjustment tool or TV alignment tool, (you can make one from a plastic knitting needle even), carefully MOVE each of these adjustments a bit, THEN RETURN THEM BACK TO THE POSITION THEY WERE IN.
Dirt often causes these controls to become intermittent in their wiper contact to the track.Moving them can restore a better contact.
There is also available fron electronic component suppliers, a pressure- pack contact cleaner product that can be sprayed onto/ into these controls, and may help if moving them does not.
If the above does not cure the problem, there is probably an electronic fault.
Remember, if you don't feel confident about poking around inside live equipment, DON'T, maybe you have a friend or relative who knows how.!!

How to remove lid from pot a fraction too small

Try placing this in the freezer for about an hour to get the metal to shrink. They are different metals and thus will shrink at a different rate. The lid should shrink more due to it being thinner and allow you to separate them. You could also try dropping the pot on its side, but this may cause undesirable damage to the appearance of it.

How to fix a fishing rod broken tip

I pushed my seat back and broke the tip of my good graphite rod.
The break was about 4" back from tip.

I fixed the tip of my graphite fishing rod with a sewing needle and a 3" piece of electric heat shrink.

The graphite rod is hollow in the center. Find a sewing needle that fits snug in the center. Put a piece of the smallest heat shrink over one side of the break and slide back out of way. Put some super glue on the needle and slide firmly on one side. (don't waste time.. super glue is fast) . Then put glue on the piece of needle that still sticking out and slide into matching side of break. Push together snug and make sure eyes are aligned. Slide the heat shrink over the break and heat with hair dryer till nice and snug.
Done. Fixed.

If you can not figure out how to open the adapter case the easiest way to eliminate the frayed portion is to cut the cord on both sides of the frayed area. Make sure you mark one of the wires before you make a cut so you can match them back up when you solder it back together. Get some heat shrink tubing which will fit over each individual wire as well as a piece that will fit over both wires which will be covered with the smaller heat shrink tubing.

Once you cut out the bad portion slide the larger piece of heat shrink tubing onto the longer remaining wire as far from the cut as possible. Next slide a small piece of heat shrink tubing onto one of the split wires, again move it as far from the cut as possible. Strip about 1/2" of insulation from the cut wires. Wrap the stripped wires together making sure to put the marked wires together. Solder the wires together. You may want to hold the end of the wire closest to the heat shrink tubing with a pair of needle nose pliers to act as a heat sink so the tubing doesn't begin to shrink before you slide it over the solder joint. Now, slide the smaller heat shrink tubing over the solder joint and apply a heat gun to it. Slide the larger heat shrink tubing over the one remaining bare wire and the one with the small piece of heat shrink tubing. Apply the heat gun again.

This sounds more complicated than it is to actually do.

You will need a soldering iron and some acid core solder. Skin back about 1/2-3/4 inch of wire on each wire, add a peice of shrink tube, twist the wires together and solder them together, side the shrink tube over the soldered area and heat the tube to shrink, or use some electrical tape. Make sure everything is taped up well to keep water out.

Picture Shrinks

It is in the power supply or I would guess most likly in the horizontal sweep section of the tV set. MOST of the time, if the power supply is going lower in voltage, the set will shrink in width,BUT will also shrink in vertical size. If this is not happening, then I would say it is in the horizontal drive circuit. This is not a circuit a user should be experimenting with, as this is the HIGH VOLTAGE circuit and can pack a mean punch! Please if the sets less the 4 to 5 years old you may want to concider an estimate or replacing the set. Its all up to you. GOOD LUCK
