Re: Zen will not download anymore songs

The problem more than likely lies with windows media player. Update to the latest version.

Creative Zen X-Fi Problem

for the problem that you have mentioned above, all you have to do is re-synch with napster. You will have to do that every 30days. no biggie. happens every month. once you stop paying for the napster service, you will not be able to listen to any of the music you downloaded from their program

Creative ZEN players do not currently support album art from Rhapsody version 4.0.
Album art is either embedded in a track, or exists as a thumbnail image in a separate file, allowing one album art file to be associated with an album. Currently, Rhapsody only supports album art embedded in the track. Future versions of Rhapsody are expected to support thumbnail versions.
Creative Media Explorer or Windows Media Player 10 or 11 can be used to transfer music purchased from Rhapsody to a player with album art included.

Album Art is supported by Creative ZEN, Creative ZEN V Plus, ZEN V, Vision:M and ZEN Vision players.
The ZEN Vision (PF1150) requires a firmware update for Album Art. You can download the updated firmware:
If you experience any difficulty transferring Album Art with Windows Media Player 10 or 11, to ZEN Vision:M, delete WMPInfo.xml (see below), and then transfer the tracks again.

Wont download all my songs!

check the options to see if the option to allow songs with digital media rights is enabled. This sometime prohibits the songs from being downloaded to the player if they were downloaded from itunes or rhapsody.

For creative zen vision w

My MuVo was having problems until I installed the latest firmware. The last firmware release was in March 2007. If you haven't updated the player's firmware since then, try downloading it and installing Creative MuVo V200 Firmware 1.13.03.

If you can't get your computer to even recognize the player anymore, you could try reinstalling the Creative Mass Storage Driver

Other downloads for the Creative MuVo V200 are located here.

Rhapsody Freezing up with Creative Zen Vision M

I have found that it works if I dump all mp3:s in one directory, the freeze only happens if \Music has a lot of subdirectories. Weirdness! The drawback is that synching seems to be a lot slower with all mp3:s in one directory.

tried doing a cleanup, reformatting, and reloading firmware,

I cant transfer songs onto my Zen vision M

Try to upgrade the firmware; go to That might do it. Other than that, no idea. I've never encountered that problem before. Normally I'd say the files you were trying to download were locked or something, but if you can't even load songs from a CD, I don't know. Those should be allowed. Are you using Windows Media Player? You shouldn't have any problems if so...
