Hi Jennifer,

Simple answer is NO, complicated answer is Possibly, but be aware, you may damage either or both radios in doing so.

Both are good brands, but are different at the technical level.

So I wouldn't want to do it myself.

Remember, that it's only a POSSIBLE, with consequences if you try.

I personally don't know how to do it, but if you have a friend or friends, that have any knowledge of radios, then asking them may be of use to you, but like me, they may say DON'T DO IT!!!

I Hope That I Have Been Of Help To You.

Best regards,

Cp200 and cls1110

If both radios are on the same bandwidth, ie. VHF or UHF, the answer is yes. They simply would need to be programmed to match one another. The CLS1110 is the limiting factor. You would need to choose a frequency from its frequency list and have it programmed into the CP200. The radio would need to be programmed by a Motorola dealer.

How do i get another cls1100 on the same freq and code #?

Not certain if you are referring to purchasing another radio or programming an existing radio. So we will answer both:

1) If programming another CLS1110 to match your existing radio, First try it straight out of the box and fully charged. Many people use the default factory programming. If that does not work follow the simple instructions on page 26 in the user guide. Here is a link: There are also cloning instructions on page 32.

2) If you are talking from the perspective of purchasing a new radio, all CLS1110 radios operate on the same frequencies/PL codes. (Unless you have a foreign model purchased in another country, then it is iffy) Simply purchase your new radio and follow the programming instructions above.

Best regards.

Will the motorola mr350r work with the motorola cs1110

  • The mr350 is a standard GMRS/FRS talk around radio and the cls1110 is a business band radio but bot operate in UHF. So if the cls1110 is programed to one of the frequencies I will list then the two will communicate. Otherwise they will not.
Here are the frequencies listed in order of channels on your radio. 1-22.

How do you change the channel on a motorola cls1110

Here's a link to the user guide:

Programming instructions begin on page 26. The CLS1110 is only capable of doing one channel at a time. You can select from the programming list which frequency you want your one channel to be.

Is it possible to create a channel on a two way radio?

You have posted under the CLS1110 heading. If this is the radio you have here are the programming instructions: With the radio turned OFF, hold in the PTT and the MON, while turning the radio on. Continue to hold the PTT and MON until the radio stops making noise. You are then in programming2.gif mode and can use the menu button to walk through the stages of programming. Use the PTT to change the settings, and the MENU to lock it in.

The CLS1110 has 56 built-in frequencies to choose from. You cannot program in a "custom" frequency. Only choose from the list.
