SOURCE: One of our Epson PowerLite projectors was working

We found that the bulb was dim because it was about to burn out. The projector's filter han't been kept clean, causing it to run hot, which in turn shortened the bulb's life.

SOURCE: My Epson Powerlite 5350 has a ghost image. Any

I've got the same problem on two Epson EMP7300.
I believe (from reading about other projectors) that the ghost image can be adjusted with RS232 codes.
Does anyone know how to do this?

SOURCE: I have a double image

often, this is related to the connection between your computer and projector. try to use another set of working VGA cable and change the screen resolution to 800 by 600 when using the projector. It may also help to test the projector on another computer to help isolate the issue.

SOURCE: Epson 460 powerlite hooked to smartboard green light blinking and no image.

Yes this is most likely the lamp. Does it eventually go back to just a red light?

Did you replace the lamp with the EXACT type that was in the projector prior to changing it? Sounds like there is difference in lamps.

Epson Powerlite 7300, misalignment of lenses.

By lenses I think you mean LCD panels, and yes there are glue down. there is a chance that the panel managed to unglue it self with time. another thing is you might just have a ghosting image. this indicates a bad lcd panel. What color seems to be out of alignment?

Epson powerlite s4 projector is pink

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the red color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the red panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the red light in the image. This causes a nice red hue to the whole screen.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.
