All ink tanks have been replaced with OEM and photos are still printing with a very pink hue. What's the next step to solve this problem?

Sounds like one of your print heads might either be plugged or not working any more. Try removing the cartridges and cleaning the print heads with a Qtip (with isopropyl alcohol), or try a print head cleaning from the printer settings menu in Windows.

Printer is printing with a pink hue

Your printer mixes the 3 colours in the tri-colour ink-cartridge to achieve each colour.

So, printing in 'PINK' suggests that one of the other 2 "primary" colours is OUT-OF-INK.

Replace the ink-cartridge.

Everything I print has a pink hue to it

The other cartridges are delivering there colurs. This is why you are getting a pink hue.
Ink may be old or new, but their nuzzles may be blocked; depending on manner of storage. To be sure apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nuzzle is not blocked. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nuzzle is blocked. To be very sure of this, place nuzzle in a plate/saucer with a bit water so that the nuzzle is soaked. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then apply the tissue again. If still not well blotted it means ink is really low or empty. If new you should return it for a replacement. In the case of blocked nuzzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.

Pixma IP5000 printing pink

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Everything's magenta!

Check in your printer driver settings "advanced" section, and see what the presets are. if the RGB or CYMK settings have a slider, see if the magenta is set at 100%. If it has a slider, try it at 90%, 80%, etc until you have a less pinkish hue. You can then create a printer profile which will work with the photo paper you are using.

Different photo papers can cause hues like this.
Also, you can remove pink any unpleasant hues with most photo image editors through color correction.

It's possible that you have a contaminated cartridge...especially if it's a refilled tri-color cartridge.
