Yes you can reset the IP Address of the iLo when the server is up. Log onto the iLo itself as an administrative user and select administration --> Network.
This will reboot the iLo itself, but the server will be unnaffected.Later you can check from IP-Details.com to see your IP address has been changed
The G5 Series is fairly new, if you're within warranty, call 1800-okCompaq.
Could be a bad cable, a bad monitor, or bad computer hardware. Any display at all or any beep codes?
On the back, the ml350 G5 will likely have an additional Network interface jack-- this may be labeled ILO. The ILO network connect allows you to use another PC on the same network to access this system (like a remote control via VNC or RDP) even if it won't power up--literally. Inside the ILO page, (you'll need the IP address of the ILO, the default account is administrator, and the default password is listed ona paper tag attached in the rear or on a sticker. If you can get into ILO via web browser: https://ipddress of ilo, you can check the Integrated log, which can shed some light on any failures.
Your server definetly has issue booting first of all this is a little old server model so first open and blow air from a blower (¬ use vaccum cleaner) since problem could be anything frm a struck cpu fan or anything
then poer donw theM/c and locate the RAM its a smal hardware in green color vertically fitted to the motherboard it will have locks at the both ends press them downwards the RAM will pop out then clean the side that was inside the motherboard with eraser and nothing else(it might damage the RAM) then fix it as it was aligning the notch it should work
If this does not work out then tell me exct LED and sybol near it
