SOURCE: How do I remove the front bottom panel of my Whirlpool gas dryer

Yahoo! I figured it out on my own. There are two clips on top that are recessed. I had to use a regular screwdriver and push the clips down and pull the panel out at the same time. It was easy after I realized what needed to be done.

on the dryer there is two selonoids that control the ignition for that. the dryer does not have a constant pilot burner to my knowledge, it is lit by electric selonoid. these are located down by the inlet tube at the gas regulator usually in the bottom front of unit.

Propane to nat. gas dryer

Good day,
Yes. Two reasons. The orifice that the gas comes out is a different size, and the regulator that determines gas pressure is disabled when using Propane, since propane has the regulator on the tank.

Propane is, unlike natural gas, heavier than air. It can pool in a low spot then ............

Whirlpool dryer has very little heat

Sounds like your not getting enough gas supply, there is a regulater that controls the flow of gas they can get carbon build-up and restrict the gas.You need to turn off your gas supply and unplug it,remove the regulator and clean the lines,or replace the part.
