Wii disk will not stay in the console

Hi,

Has anything been jammed inside the Nintendo Wii to cause this?

Has the Nintendo Wii been dropped?

There are usually 2 causes for this.

The Nintendo Wii disc drive could be damaged and/or something is jammed inside the drive causing the discs to automatically eject.

Also, your firmware could have malfunctioned, causing the drive not to work.

If you have experiencing opening the Nintendo Wii up, I would recommend you do so and look to see if anything is stuck inside.

if you're not comfortable doing so, I would recommend for you to send this system in for repair.

I drop my nintendo wii console, and later I tried to eject the disc, but it didn't work. I could only play the game that's inside the wii.

I've seen many people with this same problem.

I think if you drop the Wii, the disc ejecter breaks or something. Then you can't eject the disc or vice versa because the ejecter is broken. Call Nintendo Customer Service (1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada) and try to get it repaired.

The wii dropped and now it says it can't read disc and it won't spit it out

Contact nintendo and let them know that your getting a disc read error, and that the system was dropped. Also let them know that there is a disc inside, they will talk to you about physical damage, which is not covered under their warranty. So a repair from them, your looking @ about 57bucks

My wii spits my disc out after i put it in system

I've found that this is usually caused by a problem with the small plastic gears that operate the loading mechanism. Sometimes they break, need to be realigned, or get stuck.

If one or more of them have a problem then the loading mechanism never allows the disc to drop onto the motor to spin. Then the Wii realizes that the disc did not load properly and kicks it back out.

But the only way to see is to take the Wii's cover off.

My Wii Reads Disk, but WONT EJECT IT

If it is still under warranty use the link provided

Nintendo Support

Fill out their form and be very descriptive when asked and they will repair it.

Alternatively you may choose to open the case and examine the damage - This is unadvisable as you warranty will be void and you could further damage the console
