Question about Canon imagePROGRAF W7200 InkJet Printer
My W7200 plotter printhead has no enough ink. The tubes are empty, or with a few ink in. The printhead is writting only with the remainted ink now. The ink tanks are ok, and I done A and B cleaning printhead.
I find a small cylindrical part with a spring attached, cought in the place where the printhead park. This steel piece has 5 mm diameter and has two 2 mm diameter places probably for attaching two springs, but I find only one spring. I don't know where this piece come from, but I think it belong the plotter.
Please help me to solve the problem before clogging the printhead.
Well, it is not good situation for you because you got a mechanical damage of printhead support. Besides a cylindrical part whith one spring, try to find second spring inside plotter case. And then you'd better call service to change broken support detail (plastic lever in carriage assy). BTW it commonly encountered problem for W7200.
