Question about Wacom Bamboo Computers & Internet

Open Question

Lag while draing online

So my new tablet, a Wacom Bamboo, works perfectly fine with MyPaint and other art programs I use. I can also scroll with it and all that fun stuff when using it to browse online. The problem is, when I try to draw on chat boards and websites (like Tegaki E or IScribble and such), I get a 1-second lag or something, and the curvy line I drew comes out straight. How do I fix this?

Your tablet is set under the handwriting setting. Go to system preferences and select ink under hardware. Then turn off handwriting recognition.

My Wacom Bamboo Tablet wont detect my pen for some reason

Mabye you should buy a new pen. I had the exact same problem, but I bought a new pen and it worked perfectly. Call first and explain your problem to the website, and they should give you a new pen for free because of warrenty. Go to the WACOM website and look for the phone number in the top-right corner. That is all except to wait for your new pen that should arrive in two or three days tops.

My Wacom bamboo Fun always keeps scrolling and scrolling.I eventually have to even disconnect and turn all of it off including the programs, uninstalling. I called them and they said I'd have to take it in...

ive had this problem too, the thing that seemed to be happening was the touch ring was faulty and kept trying to scroll up, even though there was no pressure there. I went into the system preferences into the pen tablet and disabled the touch ring. although this isn't a permanent solution, it was enough for me, because i had work that needed to get done.

Bamboo Fun won't work w/ provided software

Hello,

I had the same problem when I got my laptop (Vista OS). The solution is to update the new driver for your bamboo. They are out of date so you need to go here: http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=196 Updated @ Apr. 9, 2009

This update should allow Vista to find it.
