Question about Caterpillar E70B Excavator
It will eventually quit. I have replaced the fuel filter. I removed the fuel line from the primer pump and let it drain a little. This seems to help for a while but then the same problem comes back.
Sounds like the mold that grows in the tank between the layer of diesel fuel & the water is clogging your fuel line. This black mold will clog up the fuel line valves, the fuel lines & any filters. Shut the valves off & blow out the lines if there is any evidence of black gooky stuff. If you have it you will have to drain the tank also. Once the tank is clean & clean fuel added, add the anti-mold fluid found in parts stores.
