Hello there: What i suggest is removing the battery and check the connections where the battery sits and see if there is any loose connections or is dirty and needs cleaning , and if the battery itself has a bad cell in it it wont charge properly you can take it to your nearest tomtom dealer and have them bench test it too to help find out what is going on with this unit ok> I hope that this is very helpfull for you. best regards michael
Have same thing. I did call Tomtom and they are guessing ,just like me ,that battery is dead and offered me US$ 75 off brand new go 730 and old one u can keep. Was told ,they dont sell battery replacement .
Sounds like someone will sue their **** soon as class action .
