Marantz sr3053 stuck in headphone mode

Usually the headphone jack is like a mechanical switch and it's probably just not making a good connection inside. Use the correct size headphone jack and insert it then remove it maybe a couple of times and see if that fixes it.

The left and right ear bud work some times. and if i turn the base were you plug it into the device it coukd work how can i fix it so they can both work at the same time.

Probably can't. What typically happens is that the base of the wire gets stressed from wrapping the cord around you media player and it eventually breaks the copper wire inside of the insulation. You likely can not even see the damage, let alone repair it. Be more carefull with the next set, and might I recommend a set of AKG ear buds. I have AKG 141 studio headphones and the right hand side earpiece wont make any sound, i believe it is faulty wiring because if you move it around you can make it work.

take away the glued brandmark with a sharp tool (knife , little screwdriver) and you will find a screw. loosen it and open it. there you will see some cables witch probably have one loose. fix it by solding it.

AKG K240S headphones not working well.

A buzz in one ear and no sound in the other 'sounds' like an open connection inside the headphones. The K240-series uses three wires from the pin to the headphones.
