Since you did not specify what is your phone model I reccomend the following: 1. Try looking on the sides of the phone for an empty space or some random lid.if there is such a thing then you've found the mini sd card. 2. Try removing the back lid of your phone and look for a special socket that matches the size of the mini SD card\ 3. Try to remove the battery and see if there is any miniSD card space. 4. If it is a Nokia Symbyan phone then, this specific size of memory cards usualy have their slot near the headphones jack and they are covered with a thin lid.
# Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com # 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives. # 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive. # 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'. # 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place. # 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

To eject the memory card, press , and select Remove mem. card.
Important: Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when the card is being accessed.

The sim card holder has a tiny slide mechanism. After inserting the sim card and pressing it against the body of the phone, place your finger over the card and slide it gently forward. The tiny plastic part that holds the card will snap it into place. Hard to explain, but it will work.
