After automatic updates and a restart, diagonstic lights A & C were yellow and D & B green, nothing comes up on screen, this happen before after an update but i got it to start after several a

If all diagnostic lights are on, then that means that it has something with the software of your computer. The update has affected some of the programs inside your computer thus it's booting up fine.

I suggest that you access safe mode and do a system restore from there. If you don't know how to access safe mode, then follow these:

1. Turn off your computer.
2. turn it on and keep tapping F8 until you see the options. You should see safe mode.
3. Use the arrow keys to select safe mode, then press enter.
4. Your computer should boot up to safe mode.
5. Access the system restore. You can find it in accessories, system tools, system restore. or you can search.
6. restore your computer to the known good date where your computer was still working fine.
7. After completing the on screen procedures, let your computer restart by itself (it may take minutes or more). It will restart and it should boot to the normal windows.

Good Luck!

I hope this helps.

When i installed my olympus camera software i received the message "hardware malfunction call your hardware vendor for support" and now my pc will not boot

Hi,

Please restart your pc, and keep hitting the F8 key as soon as you restart. You should get an advanced options screen. Choose Safe Mode with Networking and wait for the files to load. After 10 minutes you should be on your desktop. If your pc successfully restarts in safe mode then uninstall the olympus software from the add/remove programs and restart your pc again. This time don't press anything and wait for the pc to start normally.

Hope that helps!

Hi Thanks for your question
What i would recommend to do is in order to return your system to working state is to use System Restore tool. To use it please follow this.
1. When starting System press F8 key few times till you are shown some options. 2. One of the options should be Safe Mode please choose it and press enter 3. Once safe mode is loaded you will be asked if you want to use system recovery or just use safe mode 4. Click no to run System Restore 5. Once system restore is started from calendar showed choose the system restore point when system was working correctly 5. Press next and then next again 6. In few minutes your system should restart and work as normal
Good luck an please let us know if this was helpful

I did a system restore to an earlier time and now my computer turns on to the screen where it asks you if you want to start on safe mode, safe mode with internet, start normally, start to last good...

did you install a new piece of hardware or software?? what was it? uninstall it that piece of hardware and try booting again.
what were you doing on your system that required you to use system restore?
at what point does the computer restarts if you were to log into safe mode.
