Question about Hobart A200 Stand Mixer
I have a 1949 Hobart A200 spec 3943 that needs new motor bearings. I have the replacement bearings but I can't seem to remove the rear motor armature. Also are there any special tools required for bearing replacement? If anyone would be able to guide me through how to change the motor bearings I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
Do not heat up you have to strip the gear box but not all take the top gears off but look what you are doing its got to go back the same way or it won't work you have to take the worm gear off and then you can take it out from the back but if you can't do it get in touch with **** at x bakery in Haywood and ill sort it for you hope this helps it is a big job sorry

yes the cast can be welded(brazed). if you are able to weld this yourself, just remember before you can weld it, you have to heat it till it is cherry red then you can weld the piece. if your not qualified to weld it you can usually find a portable welding company to do this for you. hope this helps you please rate the solution...thanks
