Re: I CANT COPY THE PICTURE TO MY PC AFER TAKING...
You want to send them to my pictures folder or downloads or documents. try that. This should be easy. just because a camera has a CD with it does not mean you have to install any thing. let windows do all the work. put the cd aside and just use the patch cord from camera to PC USB port. or if your camera has a memory card... pull it out and slide that into the port on the front of your PC into the SD Mini port. works great that way too.

The number is usually how many pictures the camera's memory can hold. If it came with a USB cord, or you have one that works on it, connect it to a PC and see if autoplay will let you open folder to view files. Then just drag and drop the images or copy them to the PC. Get an SD card for more picture storage and the camera might copy them to the card for easier retrieval.
Its quite easy just remove the Memory card from the Cyber shot
put it into the card reader and connect with your PC and simply copy and paste the images from card to PC.
You can also connect the Cyber shot directly to the PC using the USB data cable given with the Camera. When you do this a new drive will appear in My Computer now just copy the images from that new drive to anywhere in PC
The solution depends upon the Operating System. There are many options for transferring the images from the Camera to the Computer. You can either use the supplied Software for transferring the images to the Computer or with the help of Windows Explorer.
Let's try to set the Camera in PTP/MTP Mode and check if it the computer detects the Camera as a Removable Drive. To set the PTP/MTP Mode, select the USB Connect option from the Main Settings 2 Menu of the Camera.
If the Camera is detected as a Removable Drive in the Computer window, then open the DCIM Folder to copy all the images.
If the Software is installed in the Computer, then the Import Media Files screen of the Picture Motion Browser appears automatically.
Click on Import option to import the images. By default, images are imported into a folder created in Pictures folder that is named with the date of importing.
images are stored on standard Type I CompactFlash cards. Consider the included 8 MB card a starter capacity, since its 12-picture limit means you'll need to return to your computer often to transfer images and free up the card for more pictures. A 128 MB card is a great size for this camera, storing around 200 images. To transfer images to your computer, simply attach the included USB cable between your PC and your camera. Your computer should automatically recognize your camera and let you move the pictures to your hard drive. Simply click on my computer click on new drive shown in this folder, select all the pictures, copy them and past to your desired location, you can also copy picture by using card reader, put the SD card in card reader and follow the same procedure Good luck, do rate the solution if helped
Its is best to have the picture software for the camera already installed on your computer. If you don't have the disc, go to the manufactureres website and download it. Then install it. That being said -
There are two ways to transfer video from a camera to a pc.
You can connect the cord while the pc is turned on and this will prompt for a command to copy and/or transfer all images to the pc. Just follow the prompts and hit "ok" when requested.
The other method is to transfer by memory card if your pc has a slot to directly insert it. Some printers have a slot to insert the memory card too. When a card is inserted, the pc will recognize it and ask what you want to do? Just follow the prompts to save all images to your computer.
The mamory card in the camera will show up as a "Removable Disk" on your computer.
1. Go to "My Computer". The camera will probably be Drive E.
2. Click on Drive E (or whatever the "removable disk" is) and open (click) any folders that show up. The pictures will be several folders down.
3. You can then copy these to your "My Pictures" folder in "My Documents" or "browse" to that drive when you want to attach a picture to your email
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Insert memory card in camera, go to camera menu, there is option Copy, select copy and transfer images from internal memory to memory stick.
2nd option is connect camera to computer by usb link without memory stick, go to my computer then removable disk, then picture folder, copy pictures and paste them on My Pictures.
