If your connectors are clogged or dirty that might stop the flow of gas, or the gas tank pressure is too low. Also, if you do not hold the igniter long enough its tip will not get hot enough to keep the flame lit.

I am using an old white westinghouse electric oven to bake a cake. I selected the right temperature which was between 150 and 160 cel. It started but I could hear the sound of a fan. I kept it on for at...

Either the temperature sensor has a problem (shorted so the control thinks the oven is colder than the actual temp) or a relay feeding the bake or broil element is welded shut and causing one of the elements to stay on. If the elements are still heating when the "ON" indicator is NOT lit, then you have a welded relay. You need the control board repaired.

My Lincoln Impinger 1450 Gas conveyor oven may be having a thermostat problem. I have a double decker and it is only happening on the more-used one. The top oven has trouble maintaing heat. It will heat to...

is your blower working? if the blower is working it sounds like the sensor may be going out(or Out)! which is bascally the safety so the unit does not burn all other components up thats why it is needing to cool down to restart. check your fuses first make sure none of them are blown and only replace with the recommended size not just what is in there. Then work it from there you can hear the blower kick on and off like a torpedo heater on construction sites or like what you might have in a garage.

There are no official problem notices about this so basically no. I have customers that regularly blow heating elements and coils in many other brands and quite a few go every few months.

Igniter stays lit entire time oven is on Blodgett dfg 100-1

I have seen this happen when a hole develops near where the ignitor is mounted. The excess gass overheats the ignitor and burns it up. What I do in a case like that is slide a c clamp over the burner and cover the hole.
