Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
Recently I've noticed that while typing within different software and e-mail sources, my cursor jumps to a new location on the page. I've read how other people have this problem with bumping their touch pad or changing the sensitivity, but that does not help my laptop.
I've also had problems while giving PowerPoint presentations while in slide show. Without touching the laptop (because I'm using a remote slide changer, that I have used for years with this laptop without problems) it will kick me out of slide show and displays the first slide in the presentation outside of slide show.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Mike I have an Aspire Vista and when I am typing, the cursor moves back to the beginning of the sentence or in the middle of a previous word sporadically and starts typing there. It is so frustrating. Any suggestions?
Ah, the Vista mouse annoyance! Go into your control panel, and in the Mouse properties, set the pointer speed a bit slower until the cursor stops bouncing all over.
