Question about Honeywell TH1110D1000 PRO Basic 1000 Non-Programmable Thermostat, Heat/Cool or

1 Answer

I have a honeywell thermostat TH1110D1000. I am interested in the hidden menu.

I want to know the parameters of the hidden menu. I have figured out that the first is simply a conversion from deg F to deg C. I find this very simple, and will not damage my thermostat. I used to work for Danfoss and Carel controls, programming and calibrating therm. Please help, the remaining menus are: 3,4,5.

How do i reset my honeywell thermostat

Remove thermostat from wall, leaving base plate on wall.
Model number appears on back of device.
Google search thermostat model in following format: Honeywell xxxx32 thermostat .pdf
Adding .pdf to search parameter will yield product manual.
Also while thermostat is off the wall, change batteries located in compartment on back of thermostat. These batteries must be changed periodically, for example each 3-4 years.

Can you replace a danfoss TP9 with a honeywell ST699

I believe the TP9 is a programmable thermostat.

While it appears the ST699 is a timer that connects to a thermostat.

So yes, they both control 230Volt boiler-and-pump. But there are differences.
Google search each item and include .pdf in search parameter to find product manual for each, and then compare wiring differences.

AC unit goes on and off every 3 minutes

It should not be doing that. The thermostat is pre-programed for only 4 cooling cycles per hour. You can change the program by :
To access the configuration menu, press both up/down buttons
simultaneously for 3 seconds.
To go to the next parameter (menu item), briefly press both
buttons simultaneously.
To modify a parameter, press one of the buttons.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 if necessary.
Press both buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to exit
the configuration menu.

You are looking fpr parameter CPH this number tells the unit how many time per hour to come on lower it to leghten the time betwen cycles.

Set back thermostat has mind of its own.

The Honeywell Vision Pro 8000 can be complicated to figure out if it isn't set up right from the system menu. There are so many things that you can make it do, sometimes the most common things are wrong. My question is ''what kind of system do you have, heat pump or not?, and is the system gas or oil?" If I knew these things, I could definitely help you figure out if the thermostat is set up right. I have the manual so that I can give you exact numbers. Just in case, you can email me at : kingbrizzle@aim.com

Start at the 'menu' button. Push button and scroll through to 'program' section. You will need to set the date and time and all that stuff. Then just keep going through the menu until yo find the program function that you want. Set the days and times yo like. You won't hurt anything so be bold and just keep at it, you will get it!

the stats come with installer set up instructions inside the box. always do! i have used them always to program stat. go to a home store and as to look at a stat and see the instructions. find the installer setup info and make a copy. there are up to 100 options on many of these, and the default setting should be used if in doubt on many. i always leave the installer set up and the homeowner directions with the homeowner and for my future use. you may try to call honeywell and ask them to fax you the installer setup directions. many of thier guys can't even tell you how to remove the cover on a stat. some are quit good.

Manual Thermostat replcaement with Programmable Digital unit.

Hopefully there are markings on the old t-stat as to what terminal is what.
on the honeywell 8000 use the heat pump labeling and then the standard wiring would be
R- red
AUX-white
Y- yellow
B- O/B
C- black
G- green
There should not be a bare wire, it probably just has the insulation stripped back way too far.
You should probably open the furnace and compare the terminal label in the furnace to the wire color. normally yellow and blue pass through the furnace and are wire nutted to wires going to the outdoor unit. In the furnace the white wire will connect to the w or w1 terminal. also, you will need to set the Honeywell stat to have the following parameters.
170-7
190-1
200-0
other parameters that I did not specify, you may read the manual and make your own decision but I recommend factory settings for the other parameters
