Question about Washing Machines
I know nothing about the elite oasis, or much about these newer Kenmores other than they are not the quality machines they used to be. Jason it looks like there is no display. Am i right? It's beeping though so there is power to it. But if there's not enough power to even light the display it's gotta be a control board issue. It's probably behind that panel. Even if it isn't you need to check the wiring and plug-in connectors on the board we know is in that console. Unfortunately, i don't know how to tell you to open it. There may be screws on the back or ends. You will have to figure that out. The first thing i would do (AFTER UNPLUGGING IT) is check all the connectors and wire paths. Look for pinched or bare wires and reseat (unplug, examine plug and plug back in) all connections and connectors. Sometimes it's obvious sometimes not so check all unless you find it right away. Also look over the boards you come across. Look for burn marks or obvious signs of overheating resistors and transistors. Careful with anything barrel shaped. Those will likely be capacitors and they can hold a charge even with machine unplugged. Shouldn't be enough juice in the small caps to hurt you but potential for board damage when none may have existed. Still capacitors work hard and are subject to failure. Usually they will puff up or even release their innards to show us they have failed. If you look closely at them you can usually tell. If you Google "is this a bad capacitor?" or something like that you'll probably find lots of pics so you know what to look for. It can't hurt to take a look.
When you are satisfied you don't see a problem and have reseated all connectors plug it back in and see what happens. Let me know.

F-51 ERROR CODE IS DEALING WITH THE SPIN CYCLE. THE CONTROL DOES NOT DETECT IT SPINNING.THE RPS SENSOR ON THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF AND PUT BACK ON ABOUT 10 TIMES. SOUNDS WEIRD BUT USUALLY FIXES IT. THEY DO HAVE A KIT ALSO FOR THE RPS TO BE REPLACED. UNPLUGGING FOR A FEW HOURS IS A TEMP FIX.

Please see the following Whirlpool Cabrio installation and service manual, the Oasis is essentially the same washer.
The F and 51 code relates to the motor rotor.
"F then 51 flashes when there is a motor rotor position sensor (RPS) failure. See TEST #3."
The "test #3 is a bit complicated but can be completed if you are reasonably comfortable with test equipment.

The error code must be cleared first to make the machine back into operation. You have to press the PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the error on the display.
The only filter the machine has is the one you removed to clean the pump. When the error is cleared, you can check the pump whether it is operating properly or not by running the diagnostic test.
