I have the same problem, the repair man said that it was one of two of the power sources and will cost anywhere from $650 to $850 to fix it. He also said to get away from Philips. dserjeant

When the led flashes a certain number of times it tells the technician what circuit is at fault causing a problem resulting in total shutdown. There are no secret codes or methods to get your tv back up and running without having it repaired "SORRY". On Philips models a 7 flash window indicates an under voltage within your power supply circuit. This means there's a Op-Amplifier, high wattage resister, Power-IC, Diode, or NPN-PNP transistor that has developed an internal defect and needs to be replaced. Keep in mind that these TV's produce alot of heat and so the components on the circuit board are prone to thermal breakdown over time. I can show how to fix this problem if your willing to cooperate with me and follow some steps.

Your tv will not work again unless its opened and serviced! Period.

Unplugged it. After looking for a new tv online I decided to try getting it to work. So, plugged it back in and held down the power button, a red light came on, held down the power button again and an orange light came on, held down power button again and green light came on and tv powered on. This was simply a case of trial and success!

unplug, hold power button, plug in. If that doesn't work, unplug all the HDMI cables, unplug the power, hold power button, plug back in.

The tv will not switch on at the on/off it flashes green makes a clicking sound then the light goes red and flashes slowly at intervals

sounds that you may need to get a service repair for it, but try to turn it off, then unplug it. press the on/off switch for about 10 to 15 secs while unplugged, then wait for about 1 to 2 minutes, plug it back and test it again.

Well my mom was watching tv and it just shut off so then my mom turned it back on thinking she might have hit the power button accidentally. But when she turns it on it started blinking the green light for...

The flashing light red power light should only stay while the fan cool down for about 1 minute after a power off (remember to always wait before unplugging the TV so the lamp can cool down with the fan). Does that flashing start right away after plugging back the TV after an hour of letting it without AC power.

The red light should flash no longer than 10 sec. This prepare the light to be turned on. If all is OK the green should stay (no longer flashing) and the sound and picture come on.

As for the lamp flashing, i bet it's only 1 time each 5 sec? Or do it group many rapid flash each 5 sec?

Things that can be wrong:
-the fan lamp

-the lamp is not proprely inserted (wait an hour before manipulating it to be sure it cooled down, and use glove to not put body oil on it).

-Lamps is defective and is not operating properly so you can't get to the usual on screen message that recommend to change the lamp.

I can't get my TV to go on.

Check for bad connections but be very careful if you don't know how to do that. It can cost you $10 for labor and $1 for solder if you tell to your neighbor technician that you have bad connection in your tv board. Enjoy
