I have a intertherm e2eb-012ha. I need to know what size run cap to use. . The plastic coating has been melted so I can not see the run cap info.

The blower won't blow unless you reach in to the unit and spin the blower. After a few tries it'll catch and start blowing.

It appears you may already have located your problem, the capacitors are very coming to burn out, if a motor will run after you spin by hand, mmore times than not the capacitor is the problem. The name tag on the equipment itself sometimes has the capacitor size and the motor nameplate usually does as well. you can call Nordyne support at 18004224328 and with your Intertherm Model number they can give you the correct capacitor size, which you can purchase at any HVAC supply house. If I had to guess, I would say you need a 5 mfd capacitor based on the blower size. but call them and verify. Also, most all supply houses that sell that capacitor can run the Intertherm numbers and see the correct size as well.

SOURCE: froze on the cooling cycle and will now not even turn on

If your AC froze up that is usually a dirty filter or coil, blower not running at proper speed or at all, or low on refrigerant. Since you say it won't come on at all now, that's probably an indication that you are low on charge and now you don't have enough pressure or refrigerant to close the low pressure switch. You will need to have the refrigerant charge checked.

SOURCE: AC unit wong start unless I spin the blower

you have 2 windings that are in you motor,One winding is the start winding It give the motor its initial boost that gets the fan spinning. The other winding is the run winding and it takes over and keeps the fan running. So it sounds like the motor is bad because the start winding is not giving the boost it needs to start. good luck--Nate

Nordyne E2Eb 012HA heats but won't turn off at set temperature on thermostat.

There are several things that can cause this symptom. Professional training and tools, experience are needed to fix it, and probably some parts. If you had the tools, training, and experience you would not be posting on this forum. Call a professional. It will save you time and money in the long run.

My nordyne E2EB-012HA wont blow cool air. Switched it to heat and it will blow out. Switch back to cool and it stops. Everything outside seems to be working fine. It just won't blow the cool air.

When you say everything is working fine outside is the compressor and condenser fan running?. When it is in the cooling mode is the indoor blower motor running?

Need to know what filter i need for furnace

This is probably not a factory specified size. You need to look at the return to your furnace. There should be a frame or housing for the filter. Measure it to see what size you need. These are often customized by the installer to meet the configuration of your ductwork. You need to measure how tal and how wide, but also how deep (thick). If possible always get a pleated filter, and not one of those "horse hair" cheap ones.
