Question about Computers & Internet
Installed Rosetta Stone French level 1 on Windows 7 computer. When trying to activate it, the zero key doesn't work on either the keyboard or the numeric keypad. I reset my computer and verified that all numerics work in other apps, but not in Rosetta Stone during activation. What's going on?
Try using an O as in Orenge that is a letter insted of the number 0.

You need to contact Rosetta Stone to resolve this. If the software requires activation, they should be able to reissue that you the new PC.

1.)Open BitDefender Antivirus in Expert Mode,
2.)click on the Antivirus module
3.)under the Shield tab click on the Advanced Settings button.
(BitDefender Active Virus Control Settings window should be displayed)
4.)adding an exclusion for Rosetta Stone solved the problem
If you have any other antivirus software

This worked for me:
1) Right click on the Rosetta Stone icon in the Start menu
2) Click the "Compatibility" tab
3) Set it to run in compatibility mode with Windows Vista SP2 (mine was defaulted to run in XP compatibility mode, which seemed to be the problem)
4) Start the program again, if you are lucky all mics will now show up

When such problems occur the first thing to do is identify the meaning of the error message. The error message above has a follow up in the program which says click ok to continue. When you clicked ok what was the next thing that happened?
Also try restarting your unit and installing the program again.
