Yes it is possible. No you will not have to pay again. If you have the original key, you are good to go.

How to fix it? cmupdater-no disk..

So you have a few possible solutions:

If you purchased it when you purchased your computer you should be able to fix it using your system restore disk.

Some new computers have a hidden segment of the hard drive instead of a restore disk. Google your specific computer type to see if this is the case for you, it typically is activated by using a specific key press during startup.

If you have a product key, but no disks, then you can reinstall using a usb drive that has ISO files installed, or borrow the disks from a friend with the same exact version of MS Office.

Best of luck, if you can't get it figured out, we'd be happy to help you try out Office 365, we are Microsoft partners and can provide you with a 30 day trial, more then enough time to help you get everything else sorted out, and you can never lose the disks for Office 365.

Product key

When the trial is over it will ask you to purchase the regualr version. When you say okay, paid your money then microsoft will unlock the trial version into a full version and send you the full key. Far as I know there is no legal way to get around that.

To better help you I need to know about the code that Office is asking you for. Does this happen when you first start Office?

Also is this a new install of Office on your computer, a reinstall of Office or did you recently have to restore your computer.

Hi,

Suggest you try and do a system restore. This will restore your pc back to a state that it was on a previous date.

If you are on XP, go to Start>Run>Type in msconfig and then his System Restore, it will start the wizard

If on Vista or Windows 7, go to start and type in system restore in the search box and then click on it when found

Go through this wizard, select a date before you installed Office 2007. Note that not every date is available to you so you need to choose the most relevant.

Once the wizard has finished, it will restart your pc and it should be back to the way it was on this date

Hope that helps, pls rate the solution

The trial version should be stored on the restore CD or Disk, depending on what came with the computer. When the system is booting up push F8. When the system Restore options appear select to reinstalled factory installed software and reinstall the software you want to use. You should be able to use the key providing it is for that version of MS Office. If it still gives you a problem it may be because you previously used the key. You can call Microsoft and they can assist you.

my friend if you buy a license software in microsoft office or operating system, you can find the license key in the cover of your software. You can then reinstall your software without the support of microsoft. But if you don't have the license key or product key of the software hen it is safe to contact your supplier for assistance regarding the license issues.
If this solution is work then you can repeat it next time you have encounter same problem.
If you need more assistance just reply to this post.
Thanks
