Question about GPX MW3337G

1 Answer

Gpx mw3337 I keep getting "no file" after downloading songs. When I think I've deleted them, then re-add them, it supposedly adds the songs or says they're already in the player. I'm at a stand still with this thing. I have no idea where I've gone wrong, and of course, no solution or phone # on the instruction sheet. Thanks for your help.

Check this link for troubleshooting for the MW3337; Most of the issues depend on which operating system and which version of media player you are using. post back with that info if you have problems yourself, I think something on that page should explain and hopefully solve your problem; You can also contact GPX from this link; Hope this helps :)

PS i think the most likely thing is the copy protection on your downloaded songs - you need to turn that off before copying them to the player - the first link explains that procedure

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

My GPS has a warning sign that comes on when I turn it on saying 1000 GPX files loaded. Please consolidate additional files, I can't download any new caches I get can you tell me anything to fix it.

It sounds like the maximum number of GPX file types your GPS can manage is 1,000. You'll need to delete as many existing GPX files as there are new that you want to add, ie: If you want to add 150 new waypoints (a.k.a. Geocaches a.k.a. GPX files) you'll should delete 151 (or more) GPX files from the GPS. That way, you'll have 999 GPX files loaded - and won't see the message complaining of 1,000 GPX files.
Running with a minimal number of GPX files may allow your device to run faster - as it doesn't need to load and calculate distances for 1,000 GPX file points. Less can be more - if you don't do CITO, Webcam, Multis, etc. or any type that has a difficulty / terrain ratings greater than 2 or 3, don't even download them. It's just clutter for your GPS to track and manage.
Look at the filters to select the types you want - either on or the software (GSAK?) you use assemble and prepare for loading them into your GPS.

GPX ML638B MP3 Player, 1GB

Windows Media Player says that my ML638B is full but it’s actually empty. How do I fix this problem?

If this problem occurs then your ML638B needs to be formatted.

1. Connect your ML638B to your computer with Windows XP or later.
2. By default your computer will recognize ML638B as GPX MTP Device. Press the POWER button from top of your ML638B, to change it to USB mode connection. You will also see USB on the screen of ML638B.
3. ML638B will now mount 2 drives, one as Tools (as CD-Drive) and second as Removable Disk (Drive) – under My Computer on your Windows Desktop.
4. Right click your mouse and then select the Format option. When the Format Removable Disk window appears select the Start button to start formatting your MP3 player.

Computer doesn't recognize songs on the player

Go to disc utility and click on erase volume, then you will be able to add new songs. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, you may have to delete the entire volume and start over.
