RCA F19421 Stuck on video since switched from dishnetwork to cable

Some RCA TV's have a "video" option that requires you to use the original remote control to cycle up or down the channels.
Also, try unplugging the TV's from the power receptacle for 30 minutes....some times, that will cause the TV to reset.
With the power cord unplugged, manually push the power button on the front of the TV to discharge all capacitors.
Ensure the 30 minute is complete before plugging it back in.
Let me know if this works.
Thank you!

well, yew can try and pull out the cord 1st...then, wait at LEAST 12 hours and plug it back in! If it turns on, and cuts off 3 seconds later, try to pull tha cord out AGAIN and plug it BACK IN and it SHOULD work! :D :3 i have had multipe problems with my RCA television set, and this was one of them!!

Tv worked until I unplugged it and moved it, now it won't turn on.

Ok try connecting it to another plug see what happens if that does not work then more than likely your tv set blew the main fuse which is located on the power supply right where the power cord comes into your tv set, you can get that fuse in any electronic store and change it out yourself just be very careful, hope this helps thank you.

I need to replace the power cord

you will have to open up the back of the tv. This can be a very dangerous as there can be a lot of stored voltage inside even if its unplugged. If you choose to do it, look on the back of the circuit board for an empty connector that used to have the power cord. Sometimes they are soldered striaght in, Do you have a replacement? Also if there is some wire left you can splice the wires togeher without having to do any soldering.

RCA TV F31317 - can't turn power on - suddenly, it stopped workin

just follow the power cord where it goes into the tv and there is a small glass fuse right there, check to see if the small wire inside it is burnt out or if the fuse appears to be white or black inside.

TV won't turn back on after power cord was disconnected from unit

If power cord was jerked out of the outlet or set, make sure it wasn't damaged. If it was unplugged violently, the circuit board inside the set could be damaged. Also make sure the outlet that it is plugged into is not damaged or a switched outlet.

This could cause a problem, because modern TVs and most other entertainment electronic goods, have a small kind of computer chip, but there should be a Reset button probably inside the set! If you feel confident about computer chips you may be able to find the button by tracing the circuit.(Disconnected from the mains). Another idea is if there is a small button cell or battery inside, then try disconnecting it for a day. Good Luck!

TV turns off by itself, juggling power cord causes TV to come back on

It could seem to be a power cord problem But when you move around the cord you are realisticly flexing the printed circuit board assy. If you know all the safety issues around the servicing a solid state tv, then Of course I will assit you, in any way I can, But you must be aware of the high voltage that these sets store , even if they Are unplugged. Its a total safety issue. If you have no experience using a multi- meter as well as the safety issue awarness, then PLEASE seek a pro to assist you with this reapir, as it will get worse in the long run and cost ya more to fix, as everytime you move around the cord and the set shuts off, then goes on , your surging the componets!. Good Luck
