Have you gone to the machine status and checked the drum, fuser and other values? More than likely one of the drum lives, fuser, IBT cleaner or some other component has exceeded it's life and needs replaced and the memory reset.
One of two things, both will require a fuser replacement. Either the over hear thermostat has open, or and most likely the heating element built into the heat roller has failed. Normally the heating element burns out and displays that message, I have not found that roller assembly spared, and even if you try and swap one from a used fuser to new, they are really dificult to change because of the spring end contacts. In simple terms, replace the fuser and you will fix the problem.
After normal start up press and hold 9 and the # key together after a few seconds it will ask if you have installed a new fuser just hit yes and you r done.
The tranfer cleaning belt is easy to replace just two screws but you have to clear the consubable life couner this is where i ame haveing problems it can be done but i dont know how if you find out post back here and let me know.
This problem occurs do to a defect in the fuser drawer. In the fuser drawer, there are two black plastic parts that can go up or down. Their function is to push the belt cleaner on and off the accumulator belt after every pass. A defect in this system causes these parts to stay up, pushing the belt cleaner on to the belt every step except the last one, causing only the black toner to remain on the belt.
It's hard to track what the exact cause is but I would recommend checking gearing and gear teeth in your fuser drawer.
It needs to have the fuser taken apart and rebuilt. There are wicks and wiper blades that wear out.
Then they do you get excessive oil on the paper and
pretty much everywhere. If your doing it yourself I can provide you a good and reliable vendor.
Resetting the belt cleaner life is to be performed only if the Belt Cleaner Assembly was defective and or the assembly is replaced before an end of life or near end of life message. Not to extend the life of the assembly. Doing so may cause premature failure of other internal printer components.
The printer will prompt the user to reset the life counts if the assembly is replaced after receiving a Replace Belt Cleaner Assembly or Replace Belt Cleaner Assembly Soon message.
Note: If the main Menu does not appear on the front panel screen and only Replace Belt Cleaner Assembly is displayed, there may be a print job that is either processing or currently printing. Try the following steps to clear the print jobs and reset the Belt Cleaner life:
Press the cancel button several times to flush processing jobs from the printer.
If you do not receive access to the front panel menu by doing this, then power off the printer and disconnect Ethernet, parallel or USB cable from the printer.
Turn the printer back on, and while it is powering up, immediately start pushing the cancel key repeatedly until you receive access to the front panel menu.
If the printer menu appears on the front panel screen, follow the instructions below to reset the Belt Cleaner life if the printer didn't prompt you to reset it:
With Menus highlighted press OK.
Press the Down Arrow and scroll to Supplies Info Menu.
Press the Down Arrow and scroll to Exit at the bottom of the menu tree.
Do you need a part number for that? Is that what your asking?
You can go to a site https://www.partsdrop.com/store/
