Wheres the choke on a 49cc pocket rocket

The choke is on the carb. Check if the carb set screw is set right, turn it all the way in and then back out 1 1/4 turns. then fine tune by 1/4 turn increments.

Hi, I have a 1999 RS 250 Aprilia and it has a strange leaking problem. When you turn the fuel on, a minute or so later on the left hand side engine cover petrol leaks out. There is no sign of petrol...

Hi, Teedon and the usual suspects are:
1. Damaged or restricted fuel tank venting system.
2. Loose float bowl screws.
3. Damaged float bowl o-ring.
4. improper fuel level in the float bowl.
5. Worn or dirty inlet valve or seat.
6. Damaged or leaking float assembly.
7. Particle contamination in inlet fitting cavity.

I inherited a 2004 BN125 that now leaks gas when started from tube that is located next to battery overflow tube

If overflow tube is leaking its due to too much fuel in petrol tank or could be a loose fuel pipe make sure its an overflow pipe not a fuel pipe just leaking

I have gas leaking from a hose that is protruding from the bottom of my 1998 Suzuki Savage 650 LS. It is backfiring a lot and I was told this was due to the Jardine exhaust system that is installed. ...

do u mean gas as in petrol??if it is petrol...then its leaking from the carbs..as this id the overflow pipe!!..if thats the case..then it sounds like the carbs may need cleaning. as they may be some muck in there thats stoping the floats from shuting.(carnt shut so overflows!!) this could make the bike backfire as still petrol going to engine when carbs shut so backsfire..or the back fire could be from the new exhaust .if its not seal'ed right on the manifolds it sucks air in & can make them pop & backfire when you shut the throttle(like when u shut throttle when coming up to a stop)....hope this helps...Howard

Yamaha dt 2003 wont start was working fine then ran out ov petrol then put more petrol in and 2stroke now wont start it started then was smoking bad for like 10 seconds then died now wont start at all btw...

sounds like you may have a air pocket in your fuel system. try cracking the fuel check on the bottom of the carb and make sure you have fuel. the only other thing i can think of is fouled plugs. I know it sounds funny on a 2 stroke but i have seen it happen

Fuel leak underneath bike

Most likely comes from the carburetor's overflow tube.Start looking in there to rule out the possibility of overflowing. If it is so you need carbs cleaning and adjusting.

LEAKING FUEL

You need to get some new float needles, and have the carbs cleaned and the float heights set correctly.

LEAKING OVERFLOW PROBLIM

it sounds to me like the carb float levels are out of adjustment and it is overfilling the bowls,or,the needle valve seats are worn and leaking, which will allow fuel to continue filling the bowls even though it looks like they are closed, remove the carbs from the bike, remove the bowls, turn the cabs upside down close the floats(push them right to the top, this simulates full bowls)then blow throgh the fuel inlet pipe,if you can hear air escaping from around the seats they are faulty, also check that the seats themselves are tight in the carb body,i dont know why but gsxr carbs seem to shake the valve seats loose..hope this helps
