Reinstall again your Automatic Wallpaper change. This might be the problem is your wallpaper changer, check the setting if it is TILE, CENTER or STRETCH, only this 3 options are available on wallpaper, aside from resolution if only for viewing purposes.

How do I change my background on my acer aspire one netbook?

Hi there.

I am assuming you are using Windows 7 "Starter" version? Because netbooks usually comes with that. If so, you can't change the wallpaper without using a third-party software.

So I personally suggest you download Oceanis for you to be able to change your wallpaper (background). I am using it without any problems, plus it is free.

Go to the link below, then once you are there, scroll down a bit to go to the download link:

Oceanis Background Changer

Thanks for using Fixya!

My window 7 starter doesn't have wallpaper or

Windows 7 Starter does not allow you to change your wallpaper. You must keep the generic wallpaper.
However, there is a 3rd party application that you can download. It will run on startup and act as your wallpaper. It's a very easy to use interface that let's you choose your background picture, and even lets you have a "slide show" background of sorts.
