Did you first set your computer to display on an outside source? You can do this by pressing function 4(the FN key and the number 4) This will let you toggle display types to be used.

A few questions for you that might narrow down the issue.

Where is DVD connected at?

Have you tried it on all rear inputs?

Where is Direct Tv connected to at the set and does it work normally?

If input it (the player) works with something else connected (rules out the input used) then I would suspect some setting in the players (identical model brand?) is set wrong.

I have a 55 in mits WS55511 that is 9 years old. I turned the tv on and the green light comes on and stays on, but I have sound on every channel but no picture.

I'm sorry that the TV is not displaying picture on the screen. Please follow the troubleshooting steps and check the operation:

Please make sure that the connections are secure and proper.
Try connecting a different video source like DVD player or VCR and check the operation. If it works with another device, the issue might be with the input device currently.
Also try connecting the device to a different port in the TV if no other devices are available. If the issue persists, try with a different cable.
Perform a power resetting and check the operation. To perform the power resetting, unplug the TV from wall outlet for more than 2 minutes and then reconnect it.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications/additional help.

The tv was re conneceted after 2 wks. It played

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

My projection tv makes everything look green

Your set is totally different and it couldn't be a convergence issue. It appears to be an HDMI connection issue. Cleaning the HDMI terminals thoroughly will resolve the problem. To verify, use a different connection or hook a different device to a different input connection on your TV.

In case the problem exists in all of the inputs please let me know.

Replaced bulb stil issues

In most projection televisions if a solid light comes on there isn't anything wrong the bulb there is a problem with one of several cards in the back of the television. I'd check for over heating damage on your imput cards, the Controller card that is connected to said input card, or the relay card that controls the tube output. Keep in mind you did order a part off of Ebay which is untrustworthy in and unto its self.

PC videocard-HDMI input not working any more.

There is acompany that makes such a converter BUT it is getting hard to get because HDCP (hd copy protection) can be bypassed with it. I will get the company name for you but search ebay for a hdmi to component converter. It works pretty well. You may need to get the HDMI to DVI converter cable for $8 as well.

Nintendo 64 problems

First try to be absolutely sure that the TV input jack is not the problem. Try hooking up the N64 to a different TV, or you could try to wiggle (gently) the connector to the input jack.

I have two of these N64's that the kids play with, and had the exact same problem. The input jack is loose on our TV, and we had to tape the wires at a certain angle to keep the connection!
