The engine idle may be set too high. look for the idle screw (on the carburetor) and turn it counter clockwise a little. If you turn it too far, the saw engine will stall... there's a "happy spot" where the saw blades will not turn, but the saw will idle.

Any modern fully synthetic chain oil such as that from Stihl or Oregon will do fine.

How do you prevent the chain on the jawsaw from coming off .

check that the chain is on and travelling in the right direction . Check that it is not blunt requiring too much load to cut . Check that the chain is properly tensioned as per manual.

We just received the worx jawsaw today and the chain came off after only a few cuts. Once the chain was put back on it kept coming off.

There has to be a chain tensioner somewhere on this saw. It will be a small screw most likely on the side. Turn right to tighten and left to loosen.

How long should a fully charge battery last on WG250E Hedge Trimmer
