Sherree:

The engine idle may be set too high. look for the idle screw (on the carburetor) and turn it counter clockwise a little. If you turn it too far, the saw engine will stall... there's a "happy spot" where the saw blades will not turn, but the saw will idle.

How do I check a battery operated mower? It stopped working.

Have a close look at the blade. It may have jammed up with a stone or stick or something and melted the inside mounting. The blade may be spinning on the shaft and not actually be turning by the motor now.

We just received the worx jawsaw today and the chain came off after only a few cuts. Once the chain was put back on it kept coming off.

There has to be a chain tensioner somewhere on this saw. It will be a small screw most likely on the side. Turn right to tighten and left to loosen.
