Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_Socket_FM1/F1A75M_LE/#specifications

To enable crossfire, you must have 2 identical graphic cards.

The onboard graphic can`t be used with the hd6670.

This means that you must buy another hd6670 to add on the mainboard.

The graphic cards homepage:

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/AMD_Series/EAH6670DI1GD3/

AMD CrossFire technology is the ultimate multi-GPU performance gaming platform. Unlocking game-dominating power, AMD CrossFire harnesses the power of two or more discrete graphics cards working in parallel to dramatically improve gaming performance.

You also need a large power supply min. 500 watt to have enough power.

Please disable the onboard graphic in the device manager.

Good luck

SOURCE: brand new motherboard wont start up

Few things to check first:

a/ Are both power connectors from PSU to motherboard connected?

b/ Ise the PSU connected to the GPU?

c/ Have you tried monitor connector in both of the GPU ports on back of the tower?

Maybe those're daft questions but it's easier to start with the simple solutions :o)

My monitor says out of range

You have set the resolution or refresh rate of your display adapter to a value which is too high than what is supported by your monitor.
In order to fix this, you have to do the following:
1. Reboot your computer & press F8 to boot into Safe Mode.
2. Once in Safe Mode, open Device Manager.
3. Remove the display adapter device driver form Device Manager.
4. Reboot your computer again. Windows will boot up normally & will detect the display adapter. It will prompt you for the device driver for the display adapter.
5. Use the CD that came with your display adapter to install the device driver. Once done, your problem is fixed.

I don't have audio and can't install the driver

Make sure that audio is enabled in the BIOS. Check to see if it displayed in the device manager and that it is enabled, as this will prevent you from installing the driver. It is also possible that the device is defective and you will need to replace it. I hope this helped. Good luck and have a fantastic day.

Hi, excuse my poor english. How can I disable onboard video on a Lenovo M55e 9632AE2? Thanks in advance. Markus Brandl

There are two ways to disable the onboard video:

First Option:
When the machine boots up, watch for instructions such as "Press to enter setup, bios, configuration, ect." Within the BIOS setup should be an option to disable to onboard video. This can usually be found within an Integrated Chipset Features section or a Video section depending on your BIOS. Be careful though, messing with settings that you don't understand can affect your computer negatively.

Second Option:
Assuming you're disabling the onboard video because you have installed a video card, access the device manager by right-clicking "My Computer" and click Manage. Select the Device Manager on the navigation pane on the left, then expand the Display Adapters section. Right-click on your onboard graphics adapter and then click Disable and you're done!

I have 2 acer data managerment problem found in edata security software installation it says please close all running programs and reinstall edats security. the second one is catalyst control center is not...

> please close all running programs and reinstall edats security.

Close programs (word-processor, web-browser).
Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Add/Remove Programs
Click on EDATS SECURITY (or something approximately that)
Click Remove
Click OK
Shutdown
Restart
Reinstall the software

> catalyst control center is not supported by the friver [?]
> version of your enabled graphics adapter.

ATI (www.ati.com) distributes the "Catalyst" software with their adapter video-cards. So, there is a problem with the "Control Center" component of their software.

> please update your ati graphics,
> or enable your ati adapter using displays manager

First, do you have an add-in video-card in your computer?
If not, then you should not be trying to use the ATI software,
and you should remove it:
* click Start
* click Control Panel
* click Add/Remove Programs
* select the ATI Catalyst software
* click Remove
* restart your computer

Second, if you have added an ATI card, you may need to restart your computer, press DELETE to enter BIOS SETUP, and "disable" the "onboard" video-adapter, or change the video-priority so that the ATI video-card becomes the "primary" video-adapter, and the onboard video-adapter becomes the "secondary" video-adapter.
Then, click Save Changes, and before selecting Exit From Setup,
move the video data-cable from the onboard VGA port to the VGA port on the ATI video-adapter. Then, "blindly", click Exit, and let your computer restart. Then, during the reboot, the ATI software will recognize the new "primary" video-card, and will the software will control the ATI video-hardware.

Sometimes, it helps to have a second computer monitor, and connect one adapter to the "onboard" VGA-port, and the other to the ATI VGA-port, so that you can see video output wherever it is produced.

Onboard graphics card for my X3200 disabled

No need to break the seal on the box -- there's nothing to jumper or switch inside there anyway.

Some video card/motherboard combos will let you do this, others force you to choose one or the other, but here's how you find out.

Right-click on "My Computer" and select "manage" This will bring up Computer Management
On the left side of the Computer Management window, find Device Manager and click on it.
Now, on the right side, look for Display Adapters, and expand it. There should be an entry for your GT120 and hopefully another entry for your onboard video. Right-click the onboard video device, and one option should be "Enable"
If you don't see this option, it's because your onboard video can't work at the same time as the GT120.

Let me know how it goes! Rate me if it works, comment back if it doesn't work and I'll see what else I can do.

What you have to do, with your monitor still plugged into the onboard, is disable the onboard controller then restart.

Your screen will go to 640x480 during this process, but no worries.

Once you've logged back in to vista, open up your device manager again to make sure that your card is now enabled. If not, enable it. Also make sure that your cards' driver sortware is updated.

Switch your monitor over to the card now. No need to power down.

Open display properties, set your dual monitor setup to default on the single monitor that you do have plugged in and reset your screen resolution... and maybe even upgrade your monitor driver from generic to specific if you want.

The issue with nvidia cards isn't with vista or nvidia at all. It's a simple matter of driver conflict between the card and the onboard chip. You just have to tell vista that you'd like to make the card the priority adapter by disabling the onboard.

However, disabling the onboard DOES NOT make it unavalable to you. You can still utilize it in a dual monitor setup as a generic adapter without conflict.
