Question about DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Machine

Delonghi EC155 problem: steam

We have some problems with a coffee maker. Firstly, when we turn it, we need to wait ~15 min (according to the instructions), but in this stage our c.maker produces steams everywhere and the water is coming out of tank, even the steam knob on top is turned off. We saw many videos on Youtube, on this step people do not put the filter holder to coffee maker, we tried both: with and without it, unfortunately, water squirts out. Are there any suggestions to solve a problem?

Grx Bunn coffee brewer will not brew. I've followed all directions carefully. I've waited almost 30 min for it to heat up I've added more water and still nothing. Now I have been waiting for about an hour...

It sounds like the tank isn't full. It takes 2 full decanters of water to fill the tank in the bank. After pouring in 10 cups of water, close the lid and wait 3 min. Then open up the lid and pour in another 10 cups of water and close the lid. Then turn the vacation switch on and wait 15 min. Now you are ready to brew coffee. Place your grounds and filter in the funnel basket and pour in 4-10 cups of cold water and place decanter on warmer plate. Close the lid and in 3 min you will have a pot of coffee. If this doesn't happen, please call 800-352-2866 and we will be happy to assist you.

Our Bunn CW series three burner is over filling. How to correct the problem??

needs service tech to adjust.

(Do it yourselfers can adjust the black knob down from 2.5 to about 2 mins. Digital timers have instructions in back of the front panel. CAUTION!! There is high voltage present. Pull out the plug! Safer to just have it serviced.)

Doesn't drip through. Don't know where the coffee water went to?

When setting up a new machine, it requires 2 full decanters of water to be poured into the machine. After you have done this, then you plug the machine in and turn on the vacation switch on the side of the machine. After 15 min, then you will pour in 4-10 cups of water and it will force out the hot water from the tank in the back and brew the coffee. If this doesn't correct the problem, then please call customer service with the model and date code.

No manual with Bunn NHBX coffee maker.

before plugging in place your empty filter basket in the coffee maker and place a pot under it. Slowly pour in two pots of water using the pour pitcher. Now you can plug it in. it'll take 15 min to heat up first time . when you brew your first pot leave your water level a little short, because the water will expand (only the first time)

Am I supposed to keep the button on the lower left side of my Bunn coffee maker in the ''on'' position all the time? If I don't, the coffee is weak and barely warm.

Yes that is the vacation switch and should be left on to allow the tank heater to keep the water at the right temperature for brewing coffee. It only needs to be turned off when you will be gone away for 4 or more days. If you do turn it off, it takes 15 min to heat the water back up to the correct temperature.

Delonghi EC 155 general help

You don't have to wait 15 mins. just a few minutes, then run some hot water to warm up the portafilter and dry it up, fill it up with coffee and when you get the gree light again, make your espresso . You will have to have a good fine coffee and make sure to pack the coffee really good and don't leave any around the edges , so could make a good seal. If you have steam coming out of the machine , is maybe to hot and is ready to brew . Cool down the machine after use, run water through it and let the steam out of the nozzle.

Coffee maker timer does not keep the heat plate on after 10 mins.

I was able to fix my little problem. I unplugged my coffe maker and waited 'bout 10 mins for the whole thing to shut down. Once the clock shut off, I reset the time. Secondly, I pressed the on/off button and held it in for 2 seconds until the red light started flashing. I set H to 1 and M to 59(I have never seen this before). anyhoo, afterthat, I set the timer to the exact time I wanted to smell my freshly brewed coffee. This morning, the red light seemed to stay on and kept my coffee nice and hot.

3-Pot coffee Maker instructions

The first time you use the machine you need to make sure it is full of water - before you plug it in and turn it on. Put an empty coffee pot under the brew basket and fill another empty pot with clean cold water.

Pour the water into the coffee maker. If water comes out then you can plug it in and turn it on. The water heating tank holds about 2-1/2 pots of water so if your machine is empty you will need to keep adding water before you turn it on otherwise you may burn up the heating element.

After the green light comes on - indicating that the tank is hot you can brew a pot of coffee. This machine is meant to be left on all of the time so it is always ready to brew. If you choose to turn it off when not in use, you will need to give it about 10 minutes to fully heat up the water before you brew.
